My name is Michael Mulvey and Stay Vigilant is the merchandising company and brand which houses all the creative output from my design studio, The Combustion Chamber. My work includes hand silkscreened t-shirts, posters and other graphic artifacts.

The things designed and sell on this site are things I want for myself. If I want this stuff, there has to be a few people out there who want it too. My work is based on anything I find either visually or intellectually interesting—from vintage illustrations to quotes by famous thinkers to technological innovations. It's all fair game.

My work doesn't try to be funny or witty. You either get it, or you don't.

When my online store goes live, one of the featured products will be the poster series, Bicycles For Our Minds, my successfully funded Kickstarter project from January 2012. It's based on Steve Jobs' believe in the computer's ability to amplify the power of our minds in the same way as bicycles amplify our power of locomotion.

When I'm not creating new designs to sell on this site, you can find me on Daily Exhaust, the blog I've been writing on since 2006. I think of it as an incubation area for the work that ends on on Stay Vigilant.
